Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at the Talk It Out, Walk It Out event on Sunday, August 4th! This event, presented by Remembering Cherubs in partnership with the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, aims to raise awareness and break the cycle of health disparities impacting Black women. Click here to learn more about the event.

Below is a list of the available tasks and their descriptions. When you are ready to sign up, simply click the Sign Up button. There, you will be able to choose the tasks and available timeslots you are interested in. Keep in mind that you can sign up for multiple tasks and shifts.
Guest Check-in
Two-hour shifts available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

- Marking off guest names on the attendee list.
- Registering guests onsite.
- Assisting guests in signing the photography and walk waiver forms.
- Placing wristbands on guests to indicate their check-in status.
- Distributing event t-shirts and gift bags to registered attendees.
- Providing guests with donation QR codes for fundraising purposes.
Walker Welcome
Rally walkers at the finish line, cheering them on and creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere as they complete their walk.
RC Table Support
Two-hour shifts available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
-Hand out Remembering Cherubs brochures.
-Signup guests for the Ongoing Support program and distribute free Ongoing Support Toolkits.
-Signup guests for Remembering Cherubs volunteer opportunities.
Setup/Breakdown
Setup: (8:30 am to 10:00 am)
-Assembling banners.
-Unpacking boxes containing event materials and supplies.
-Setting up tables for various event activities.
Breakdown: (3:00 pm to 4:30 pm)
-Assisting with post-event cleanup activities.
-Removing banners and decorations.
-Disassembling tables and packing up event equipment.
