Become a Peer Mentor
Launching in October! The Remembering Cherubs Peer Mentor Service will offer caring support for parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. Our peer mentors will be people who have been through loss themselves or who are trained to help. They will meet with parents for three virtual sessions, scheduled every other week. These sessions are not therapy, but they will give parents a safe space to talk, feel understood, and take steps toward healing and emotional well-being.
What Our Peer Mentors Do
• Provide a safe, supportive presence for parents over three virtual sessions (held every two weeks)
• Help parents share their experience and explore helpful tools like The Pregnancy Loss Guidebook
• Build relationships with the community through our monthly group meetups called Crawl. Walk. Run. Soar!
What to Expect as a Peer Mentor
-
Take a 10-part online training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) on pregnancy-related mental health and how to offer peer support
-
Get support from our Advisory Support Committee (a group of therapists, counselors, and grief experts) when needed
-
Ongoing training and coaching calls with PSI and Remembering Cherubs

• Are at least one year past your most recent loss
• Are not currently pregnant

If you’re someone who listens with care, leads with compassion, and wants to walk alongside others in their healing, we invite you to apply below.
We will review applications through the month of June and notify selected applicants by July 1. Trainings will take place in July and August. If you are not selected for the first cohort, there will be additional opportunities to serve.
