Pregnancy or infant loss sucks. There is no flowery way to put it. Adding insult to injury is that society often minimizes or ignores the associated grief of miscarriage as it is a stigmatized or taboo type of loss. Remembering Cherubs hosts four signature events each year to build a community of support and foster a sense of belonging, trust, and safety among parents of loss. Learn more about each event below.
Vision Board Brunch
A vision board event centered on goal setting with a wellness focus, led by subject matter experts in five major forms of health (mental, emotional, spiritual, social & physical)
Self-care activities centered on fun and unique forms of self-care, such as art therapy, horticulture therapy, sound healing, yoga, etc...
Talk It Out, Walk It Out: Remembering Cherubs River Walk
A walk along the Detroit River to raise awareness and break the taboo of keeping miscarriage quiet
Wave of Light & Community Game Night
On Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Remembering Cherubs hosts parents and pregnancy loss organizations from around Southeast Michigan for a Wave of Light ceremony to remember babies gone too soon, followed by a spirited game night
